“Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered”
(1 Peter 3:7, NLT)

Did you know that the way you treat people has an impact on how effective your prayers are? The Bible says that the prayer of the righteous person is powerful, but if we aren’t treating others with honor, kindness and respect, then we aren’t allowing the righteousness of God to operate in u
s and though us. When we don’t treat others the way we should, it closes the door to God’s power and hinders our prayers and leaves us open to attacks that can leave us shackled and bound. This is especially true in a marriage relationship. Marriage isn’t just an agreement between two people to live life together. Marriage is a God-ordained covenant that helps us understand love and unity. When two people are married, they become one physically, spiritually and emotionally. This scripture is directed toward husbands, but it applies to all believers. We should always treat others “with love and respect,” which means considering their needs above our own. We should always try to treat others with kindness, dignity, and be quick to forgive wrongs. Choose to love and treat others with respect. Let God’s righteousness flow through you and open the door for His power and grace in every area of your life! Remember it’s called a fight for a reason. However we fight from victory not for victory. Keep fighting!

Father, thank You for another day to praise and worship You. I submit every part of me to You. I choose to treat others with the love and respect that shows that I honor You. Have Your way in me and teach me how to pray more effectively for Your glory as I continue the good fight of faith in Jesus Name. Amen.

1 Timothy 6:6-10 But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

"And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two" (Matthew 5:41, NKJ)

Are you a winner? Do you do more than what people expect of you, or do you look for the easy way out? Do you just do the minimum required, or do you go the extra mile to finish what you have started?
In Bible days, by law, a Roman soldier could require a person to carry his armor for a mile. After that mile, they would have to get someone else to carry it. But in this verse, Jesus is telling us to go above and beyond the call of duty. To do more than what is expected. Don’t just carry the armor one mile, carry the armor two miles. Do more than what is expected, that´s the attitude we should have each and every day.
We are called of God to be winners. We are called to go above and beyond. That´s the attitude God expects, and that´s the attitude God rewards. The world should look at the people of God and think, "Wow. They are people of integrity. People that go the extra mile and outshine the rest, I want what they have." I encourage you to look for ways to go the extra mile. Let your actions bring glory to God and open the door for His blessing in every area of your life as you continue the good fight of faith. Remember, it’s called a fight for a reason. However, we fight from victory not for victory.

Father, I choose to have a good attitude and strive to become a winner in all that I do. I want my life to bring You glory as I listen and obey Your commands. Help me to find creative ways to be a blessing to others and continue to lean on Your strength and not my own. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith. (Galatians 6:7-10 NLT)

Are you still living in the past? You might still have those temptations from alcohol, drugs, tobacco, porn, lust or any other sin that you may have given into in the past, but now is the time to be set free! Don’t continue living in a world full of death and decay. Be loosed from the old sinful nature and look to live a brand new life pleasing to God!
Start sowing new seeds. Change your character by obeying God’s word. Choose to live your life pleasing to God by being a blessing to others so you may enjoy everlasting life. Show compassion to those in need and sow good seeds so you may reap the harvest and receive blessings that you have been waiting for.
Today is a new day, look forward keeping your focus on Jesus, and as you face your battles put on the full armor of God and stand as you continue to fight the good fight of faith. Lift up those around you that are down, be a blessing so you can receive your blessing. Never give up. Remember it’s called a fight for a reason. However, we fight from victory not for victory. Keep fighting!

Father, I thank You for breaking the chains of bondage in my life. I choose today to focus completely on You and leave my past behind. Father, continue to mold me into the servant You want me to be, in Jesus Name. Amen

"Light shines in the darkness for the godly…" (Psalms 112:4 NLT)

Everyone goes through times in life that seem dark were nothing seems to go right. You may be going through some of these times right now, and you don’t see how things could ever work out. You don’t have the money. Your problems look so big that you will never be able to get out from under them. But if you will stay faith–minded and focused on what God can do, His Word promises that the light will come shining through. Notice, it’s not going to trickle in. It’s not going to barely get there. No, it’s going to come in like a flood, it will come bursting in. That means, suddenly, things will change in your favor because of God’s mercy and grace. Remember your God is bigger then any of your problems.
When things seem dark, don't start complaining and whining. Don't get negative and sour. But remember, how big our God is and how He likes to do things suddenly in His timing. Keep reminding yourself that the light is about to come shining through! It may be today, it may be tomorrow, it may be next week, or even next month, or next year. But always know that your breakthrough is on the way! Our God never fails. He is faithful and is always there to help us through our battles and to give us the hope to carry on. Remember it’s called a fight for a reason. However we fight from victory not for victory. Keep fighting!

Father, I choose to focus on You every minute of every day. I know that as I keep my heart and mind focused on You that Your light will drive out every bit of darkness in my life. Thank You for directing my steps and keeping me close to You as I continue the good fight of faith, In Jesus Name. Amen.

Sing praises to the LORD who reigns in Jerusalem. Tell the world about his unforgettable deeds. (Psalm 9:11 NLT)

God wants to give you something new to talk about! He wants to overwhelm you in such a way that everywhere you go, you talk about what He is doing and what He has done in your life. You will want to tell your friends, your neighbors, your co-workers, your children, and your grandchildren about all the great things God has done in your life!
Are you looking for change in your life? Are you talking about what God has already done in your life? God never intended for us to just go through life defeated and disappointed. We are not supposed to go around with a negative attitude saying, “I never get things my way” No, we are supposed to declare His Word and watch it come to pass! I encourage you to choose an attitude of faith today. Start talking about the great things God has done in your life and be a living testimony of all God has done in your life. If you’ll start looking for what God has for you and sharing what He has done for you, God will show up and bless you beyond belief! Remember it’s called a fight for a reason. However, we fight from victory not for victory. Keep fighting!

Father, thank You for Your mercy and grace. Thank You for blessing my life today. I choose to have a thankful attitude and to declare Your goodness everywhere I go as I continue the good fight of faith in Jesus Name. Amen.

Surely your goodness, and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.(Psalm 23:6, NIV)

God has a plan to take every adversity and every hardship you go through and use it not to beat you down and make your life miserable, but to make you grow! God's dream is to take every difficulty and supernaturally turn it around and use it to bring you good. He will use those tough times to make you stronger, more mature, and prepared to face your daily battles! Goodness and unfailing love are God's plan for you!
You may not understand everything that is going on in your life today, but I encourage you to keep your guard up and forgive those that may have wronged you. Know that God is working in your life. Keep being faithful. Keep doing the right thing knowing that in the end God is going to turn things around for you. If God is for you, who can be against you? No one. Greater is the One who is in you than anyone who can be against you. No matter what's going on around you today, you can square your shoulders and put a smile on your face because God has good things in store for your future! Remember it’s called a fight for a reason. However, we fight from victory not for victory. Keep fighting!!

"Father, thank You for all the goodness and faithfulness You have filled my life with. Thank You for all You have done for me in my past and for what You are preparing for my future and giving me a forgiving heart. Help me keep my eyes on You. Help me stand strong in You and look for Your goodness all the days of my life. In Jesus Name. Amen."

"Then he said to them all: 'If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me” (Luke 9:23, NIV)

Every day there are things that come against us. These distractions try to pull us away from our faith in Christ. That's why Jesus said that every day we have to make the choice to either follow the world or follow Him. It seems so easy you think, "Well, I go to church regularly" or "I read my Bible on Sundays." But really, the Christian life isn't about how we live on the weekends, it's how we live each and every day. Are you spending time with Him, daily? Are you reaching out and putting others first, daily? Are you sowing seeds to help those in need, daily? If you know you need to make some changes in your daily walk with Him, start today. Just simply turn to Jesus and make the commitment to follow Him moment by moment. Let Jesus direct your steps and follow that inner prompting of the Holy Spirit. Make the choice every day to follow Jesus and watch what He will do on your behalf! Remember it’s called a fight for a reason. However, we fight from victory not for victory. Keep fighting!

Father, thank You for another day and another chance to serve and follow You. Search my heart and mind right now and remove anything that would keep me from Your Holy presence. I choose to keep my focus on You as I follow Your steps. In Jesus Name. Amen

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. (Colossians 3:12-14 NIV)

Do you struggle with forgiveness? Have you ever been wronged or hurt? All of us have had things that have happened to us in life’s battles that have cause us pain, anger and grief. How we handle and deal with these things can be the difference between receiving God’s blessings and living in bitterness and resentment all of our lives. Jesus commands us to forgive one another and live with compassion and kindness in our hearts as we seek victory in the daily battles we face. Let today be the day that you show humility and patience with others. Learn to forgive others as Christ has forgiven you. If we are to receive Gods favor and grace we need to stop sowing seeds of resentment and bitterness into our lives and start sowing seeds of kindness, gentleness and love into others. Stop dwelling on the past and look to the future for what God has in store for you as you continue the good fight of faith. Remember it’s called a fight for a reason. However we fight from victory not for victory. Keep fighting!

Father, we thank You for the favor and grace that You shower us with each and every day. Lord help us to forgive others as You have forgiven us and Lord we ask that You help us to show compassion, humility and love towards others as we sow good seeds into the lives of others as You guide us through life’s battles, in Jesus Name. Amen.

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, and we have a priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. (1 Peter 1:3-4 NLT)
Will 2012 be the year that you decide to love the Lord your God and serve Him with all your heart, mind, and soul? It seems like a simple question but the way that you respond can make the difference in prospering in 2012 or facing the same limitations and distractions you may have faced in 2011. Take the time today to leave in 2011 all the things that belong there, guilt and shame are not welcome in this new season of your life. Don’t look back on last year’s battles but look forward to the victories that God has in store for you. Move into this new season with excitement knowing that even in our weakness He is strong. I encourage you to jump into 2012 with faith that Jesus will lead you through all the traps and snares as you leave 2011 and the past behind. There is nothing in 2011 that will outshine what the Lord has planned for you for 2012! Remember it’s called a fight for a reason. However we fight from victory not for victory. Keep fighting!
Father, I thank You for giving me new life through Your mercy and grace. I choose today to look ahead for the new things You have for me in this life as I continue the good fight of faith completely trusting in You. In Jesus Name. Amen.
