But thank God! He has made us His captives and continues to lead us along in Christ’s triumphal procession. Now He uses us to spread the knowledge of Christ everywhere, like a sweet perfume. (2 Corinthians 2:14 NKJ).

When you think about your past, what do you remember? What memories do you allow to play over and over in your mind? In the Old Testament, people had what they called memorial stones. These memorial stones were used to remind the people about the good things God did in their lives. They placed these stones where ever these events happened. We need to remind ourselves today to focus on our victories and what God has done for us. Sure, we have all had setbacks, but when you always look back on your disappointments and failures, it only drains you of your energy. It steals your confidence and your joy. But when you focus on your victories, it builds your strength and confidence to carry on. It feeds your faith. It gives you a reason to give God praise. Praise catches God´s attention. He inhabits the praises of His people. And when God shows up, every enemy must flee!
I encourage you today to get into the habit of focusing on your victories and forget about your defeats. Don’t let pride, anger or other sin rob you of what God has for you. Remember, every good and perfect gift comes from God. As you praise Him and thank Him for His favor and grace in your life, He´ll open up new and exciting doors for you to move forward into the victorious life He has for you, and always remember it’s called a fight for a reason. However, we fight from victory not for victory!

God loves to build champions. This might explain some of the pain in your life.  Being a champion requires enduring pain.  Training camp is not a walk in the park.

We don’t object when we win, we just groan when we loose.  He has high aspirations for you.  God envisions you with your hand raised in the end.  He won’t stop until he is finished… He wants you to be a Champion In Christ!
