In our daily walk it’s interesting how easy it is to put things off? We plan on going somewhere or doing something. We have the best intentions of going there. We just plan to do it later. One of these days I’m going to lose weight. One of these days I’m going to get caught up on my bills. One of these days I’m going to forgive everyone that ever hurt me. The problem with this kind of thinking is that “one day” never comes. There will always be some kind of reason to keep delaying it or putting it off.
Is there something in your life that you know you need to do? Maybe God has been dealing with you and you keep ignoring His calling. You think, As soon as I get caught up with everything, then I’ll spend more time with God. As soon as I get some of these bills paid off, then I’ll start tithing. Maybe when my children get older, then we’ll start going to church and spend more time with each other.
Folks, good intentions don’t equal obedience. The faster you do the things you need to do, the happier you are going to be. Don’t let unfinished goals and aspirations keep you from all the good things that God has for you. Step out in faith. Obey His voice and walk in the blessing He has for you! Remember, it’s called a fight for a reason. However we fight from victory not for victory. Keep fighting!
