“When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things”.

                                                                                                                                     Mark 6:34

When Jesus is walking back to the locker room after a long fight with the powers of darkness, the crowd stops him. Keep in mind, he has just been through a slugfest with the evil one in the spiritual realm and his human body is exhausted. He needs to recover.  He longs to relax with his team.  He needs anything but another fight now.

However, his love for people knocks out his need for rest.

Many of those he healed by standing in the gap were not grateful-but he took the punches for them anyway. Most just wanted the fame that came with victory, but he raised their hand anyway.  Some of those who asked for tips to win today would punch him in the back of the head a few months later, but he healed them anyway.  He is a champion of compassion…are you?

Remember, it is called a fight for a reason.  However, we fight from victory, not for victory.  Keep Fighting!

God loves to build champions. This might explain some of the pain in your life.  Being a champion requires enduring pain.  Training camp is not a walk in the park.

We don’t object when we win, we just groan when we loose.  He has high aspirations for you.  God envisions you with your hand raised in the end.  He won’t stop until he is finished… He wants you to be a Champion In Christ!
